Earhart 5th graders take the responsibility for empyting classroom bins into the larger bins outside. The latchkey kids help with the indoor center, keeping it clean and emptying it to the outdoor bins. This year we hope to increase our volume of recycling as we decrease our waste. A thorough audit will be taken and students will analyze the data to see where we can make improvements. Plans to organize for America Recycles Day in November 2008 are in the works.
