Hutchinson Correctional Facility Green Team

HCF has recycled for quite some time already. In addition to the above listed items, we are looking at recycling plastic containers and also seeking out other possiblities for recycling. One of these possibilities is fabric. A prototype "chill chaser" has been produced using discarded denim and linens. These materials are being turned into a quilt-like item that can be used for warmth. HCF has contacted the local Salvation Army who will receive these items for their distribution to those who may be in need. show less
