The K-State Recycling Advisory Committee is composed of nine faculty, staff, and students from around the campus who are champions for recycling. This committee was formed in 1997. The recycling effort is managed by John Woods, Facilities Services, and is assisted by two employees and student volunteers. Recycling receptacles are located in many buildings on the K-State campus in areas approved by the Fire Marshal.
