The Kansas Army National Guard established a proactive recycling program in the mid-1990's, which has continually grown in size and scope since its inception. Major General Tod Bunding, The Adjutant General, reissued the TAG Policy Letter #8 (Kansas Army National Guard Qualified Recycling Program (QRP) Instructions) earlier this year which provided updated recycling guidance to all Kansas Army National Guard facilities throughout the state. In fiscal year 2007 (1 October 2006 through 30 September 2007), the Kansas Army National Guard recycled 865 tons (1,730,000 pounds) of materials.

We have a combination of deskside recycling containers and larger containers near breakrooms.

Our recycling program was started in 1996.

We recycle paper (white and mixed), cardboard, and scrap metal.
