KJCC is promoting several energy conservation initiatives, including reduction of electricity consumption by shutting down individual computer stations over the weekends and when not in use and conservation of natural gas through the replacement of old, inefficient burners in the old power plant. In August, KJCC started recycling all discarded paper through Sred-It. The Maintenance Department also began taking scrap metal to a local recycling center. show less

Paper recycling bins are located in all administrative office areas including Health Services and Shift Manger's offices.
