KU School of Medicine - Wichita Green Team
Here at the KU School of Medicine in Wichita, our recycle program is primarily handled by the student body. The school has provided recycle bins and the students collect and transfer aluminum cans and plastic bottles to the local recycler. Printer and copier ink cartridges are recycled to a local contractor who reconditions these items. Recycle office paper is placed in small cardboard collection boxes located underneath each office desk and is transfered into a large outdoor container to be picked up and hauled away by the local recycler. We also recycle all previous year telephone books.
