LaserCycle Green Team

LaserCycle has reached the Gold Level award by the Johnson County Environmental Department for Green Business Recognition.  In 2009 we recycled 200 lbs of papers. Some of the initiatives initiated include:

• Track solid waste and recycling metrics
• Purchase used or recycled content furniture, equipment, or supplies
• Update one vehicle to a a Ford Escape Hybrid
• Installed motion detection lights
• Reuse packaging and shipping materials

LaserCycle, along with our sister company InkCycle, has developed the first truly zero landfill ink & toner cartridges that provide reporting on the exact amount of electronic waste diverted from the landfill. This enables sustainability or green teams to actually quantify their efforts to shareholders, customers, and employees.
