Wichita SRS Green Team
The Wichita Green Team was formed to look at office practices and establish some guidelines for office staff to become more environmentally friendly. Aluminum and plastic recycle bins have been placed on every floor. "The Green Guide," a newsletter about all things green is published every other month. Check out our downloads for the latest edition and tips on going green.
show lessAluminum recycling bins are on every floor, most are located in the kitchenettes. Large paper recycling bins are also located on every floor. Employees can collect paper in boxes at their desks and can empty it in the large bins. Most recently, we have added plastic recycling to our building. Collection bins have been placed in 9 different locations and the response has been overwhelming!
The Wichita SRS Office kicked-off our efforts on December 4, 2007. We celebrated our one year anniversary with a Green Lunch and Learn in December 2008.
We are recycling most types of paper, aluminum cans and plastic bottles.
