Where?

Paper-recycling is captured in offices and consolidated into large containers located on each floor. We have recently started recycling mixed plastic and magazines with collection containers for each material located in the elevator lobbies on each floor. Aluminum can recycling containers are generally located within the desiginated break areas throughout the building.

When?

KDOT has been recycling paper and aluminum cans for many years in our headquarters and district offices. We also recycle metals, batteries, antifreeze, used motor oil, and other items in our field offices. Recently, we have added plastics and magazines to the list of materials that we are recycling.
